And it's only 11:30...

Mom and I were talking about my blog this morning while laying in bed waiting for Miss Katherine to come visit.  She was explaining to me that she was once told when she does that scrapbooking thing she does, that she should always work on the current events and then work on the past as she has time.  I guess the reason behind that is because it's easier to remember the most current events and one should hurry up and document them so they are not forgotten.  So, I decided, even though I have many stories about "the past" to share, I should always make sure to post my most current events first.

On that note I'll get to telling you about my morning...as this post is titled, "And it's only 11:30.."

This story is not so much about me but more about the chain of events I happened to witness and or be a part of this morning.  As I earlier stated, mom and I vegged in bed for quite some time.  She was really sleepy and it was rainy out and I was quite content just sitting there making noises and cuddling with her.  I got hungry about 10ish so out of bed it was.  Mom picked through this basket of clothes, she calls it laundry, and found something to put me in.  I don't know what was wrong with what I had on, I was really comfortable and looked pretty darn cute if I do say so myself.  Mom said, "you can't stay in your pjs all day...".  Since I knew this lady, Miss Katherine, was coming to visit, I decided mom was right and agreed to wear my totally cool dinosaur jumper...it has dino's on the feet...So cool!

After getting dressed for the day, mom took Gunner out side, (I heard that's where he does his business.  Yet I haven't figured out why everyone just wear a diaper like I do.) she then made me a bottle and I finished it just in time for Miss Katherine to come see me.

Miss Katherine is such a nice lady. She held me and talked to me and we laughed a lot too.  Miss Katherine said she had to go because she had some place called "work" to go to.  No idea what that is, but mom said she would explain it to me on another day.
Right after Miss Katherine left, mom made this really hot, funny smelling stuff, she called it coffee. She gets really excited about this stuff, I personally do not think it seems as good as my bottles, but it makes her happy so that's cool.  Anyway, just as mom was reaching in the fridge for white stuff...uhhh creamer she called it, I decided my bottle was just not setting right in my tummy and just had to get rid of it.  Getting rid of my bottle is not something I mean to do...it just happens.  So there we were, me in one arm, creamer in another and my bottle, well it was on me, on mommy, between me and mommy and dripping big puddles on the kitchen floor...hehe...it was everywhere, but let me tell you, I felt WAY better!.  Mom put a towel over the puddles on the floor and off she took me to the tub.  This spit up was not just a quick clean up deal, this needed a bath.  So to the tub we went.  Mom washed me off and I was rather ticked she was not letting me play in the tub longer so I screamed.  I had to scream, it is the only way I can let her know if I'm unhappy.  After this bath, that was entirely too quick in my opinion, mom wrapped me in a towel and  dried me off.  Then, just as she reached for my new set of clothes, this sudden urge came over me...POOP! I had to poop and did not have one of those diaper things on...but what was I to do.  Listen people, I know how to type but I have not learned how to get a diaper on or off.  So I was left with no choice but to, well, poop.  I laid there waiting for mom to unwrap my towel and find my little, uhhh present?  And that she did. You should have seen her face!  I can't help but laugh!! Hey, no judging...I felt better and maybe she should have let me play in the tub longer?!  Mom cleaned me up again and into my second outfit of the day I went.  Mom picked me up and said something to the effect that she really loves me but now really needs her coffee...so back to the kitchen we went.

As we were again standing near the coffee pot,  mom kept looking around.  She started smelling me, smelling my butt (ewwwww) and looking all over.  She seemed to be doing that thing Gunner does called sniffing around.  Now, I know from meeting Gunner it is customary for dogs to sniff my butt to get to know me, but mom and I already know each other so I was a bit confused as to why she was sniffing my butt.  Mom then moved on looking throughout the house sniffing until there it was..this pile of brown stuff on the floor.  It was as big as me and peeeeee uuuuuuuuuuuu it smelled!!!!  I had no idea what it was but it stunk way worse then anything I have ever smelled.  Come to find out..it was Gunners "present" he left for mommy while she was bathing me, changing me and cleaning up my "present".  Mom set me down and cleaned up Gunners present and called daddy.  I heard their conversation...mommy told daddy that as soon as he gets home she is going to sit down and have a glass of wine.  I don't know what wine is, but she said Grandma NeNe and Gpa Joe left a bottle of it in the fridge for just this type of day and she can't possibly wait to open it.  So whatever it is, I think mom deserves to have a glass!

So I don't know about you all, but I could not help but share our morning with you.  It was crazy and I love crazy...I can't wait to see what the rest of the day will bring!  I hope you all have a great Friday.

XO (hugs and kisses)

I have arrived!!!

Hello world, I have finally arrived!
For those of you who may or may not know, my journey in to this world was a bit rough, but I am pleased to report I am doing well and ready to get my blog on! So here are my stats...I was born February 27, 2010 at 5:29 a.m., weighing 7lbs 12oz and all of 19 inches long.  I have nearly a month worth of stories to share with you so please, bare with me while I get this blog updated.  After all, this keyboard is quite the large undertaking for my tiny little fingers to get used to, not to mention, I have to find the time to write updates between eating, napping, getting my diaper changed and sharing the computer with mom and dad.
