Phewwww it has been like months since I have been on this computer thing! I think maybe almost as many months as I have been here. Ok ok (just got that "look" from Mom...) not as long as I have been here but it has been a long time. Anyway my people, I am trying to convince Mom she is slacking and needs to let me type every night before bed. Maybe you can help me? My idea was that I get a couple of hours of computer time before my bed time bottle, but Mom said "NO way little man!". Ugh, I hate when she says no to my super good ideas. She said she would think about letting me have the computer for a few "minutes" but not hours. Really, I couldn't tell you the difference between hours or minutes but I'm going to talk to Dad about it and see what he thinks. Maybe he will let me play for hours?
So....
Since I have not been on the computer in like MONTHS, I know there is a lot for us to catch up on but I do not have a lot of time. Mom is standing over my shoulder reminding me it is past that silly idea of a bed time. So here is the deal...some guy took my idea for a TV show ("Man vs Food"). You have heard of it right? Well anyway, for those of you who have not been introduced, "Hi, My name is Grayson Henry and I LOVE food!" keeeheeeheee. That was a little bit of that funny business Mom and Dad call sarcasm. But on a very serious note, and I mean SERious, I love me some food. Mom has a ton of pictures and videos of me eating. See, it is totally exciting right now, I have this special chair with a tray. It is totally slammin and it is super special because it has a tray! No one else in the family has a tray. Mom and Dad have to share a table and Gunner, well, he eats in a bowl on the ground, it's so not as cool as having your own tray! And Mom rocks and she makes my food for me. I do help though. I go to the store with her, help pick it out and then I bounce in my bouncing seat (a whole other topic of discussion for another day) while she cleans, peels, chops and purees my food. I am so helpful, I smile, laugh and talk to her all for support, I know she could not do it with out me!
Today was extra special because not only have I discovered I am not allergic to kiwi...ok hold on! I just have to say before I forget, I still can not wrap my brain around a kiwi. I mean have you seen those things!? They are fuzzy, really fuzzy and they are the coolest color of green and have like 676868594484757676869912343245788 seeds in them. I so just made that number up, HAha! What I want to know is how you folks ever decided what is good to eat. I know I have not been here long, but I keep thinking, if I were to be walking in a forest (or wherever people walk to find food) I would never have thought to pick up that funny looking fuzzy thing and try to eat it. But hey, props to the lady or gent who did because it is pretty tasty in my belly!
Ok, back to today, so not allergic to kiwis and ready....(insert drum roll sounds please).....I got to eat whole pieces of bananas all by myself! That's right. Of course Mom had her video camera in my face but I'm kinda glad she did because now you all get to see my mad finger pinching skills as I can not pick up food and put it in my mouth. Mom even said now I can have my carrots and other soft foods like that. She is worried about me choking so we have to "take it slow" (she is such a worry wart!) but I'm totally pumped about the whole thing.
I hope you all had a good dinner, I know I did. I'll try to get back on here tomorrow since I'm supposed to have a very exciting day and should have lots to tell you about. I heard Mom tell Daddy that we are going to my favorite store Wegmans, to get me some more food and then meeting Ms. Julie and Ms. Angela for lunch and their beautiful new baby girls Lily and Claire (I'm going to wear something spiffy for them too because I get to meet Lily for the first time and Claire, well, her and I met last week...she's super cute...red hair, blue eyes...) O my, I'm so excited!
Sweet dreams everyone!
O and here is the video of me handling the bananas with my new pincher skills!
G'night
