4 Month Follow Up

Yesterday was my 4 month follow up with Dr. Purcell.  Don't worry, I am aware I am more like 4 1/2 months but my Dr. was on vacation and well, she is the best so I waited till she got back to go see her.  Dr. Purcell was very excited to see me and I was excited to see her.  I had soooo many new things to show her.  I told her all about how I have been doing through various coos, squeals and giggles. I showed her how strong I had become, how my hands stay open, how I can almost sit up unassisted and my bouncing skills. I had a lot to tell her!  Mom and Dad discussed "the rules" with her.  Like what kind of sun screen I can wear, what I can eat, etc. etc. etc.  after that I said my good byes to Dr. Purcell and, here I am waiting for the nurse to come in and give me my shots.

I decided it would be a good idea to get some tummy time in while waiting. I have been practicing rolling and shifting my weight..

see I can lean to my left and Mommy did not get a picture but I can lean to my right too.  

So after waiting just a few minutes the nurse lady came in and gave me three shots and one squeeze of some stuff in my mouth.  The stuff she put in my mouth was pretty tasty, the shots, well, I did not like those so much...I cried

but then after Mommy and Daddy held me and explained it was all over I felt much better

Wheww that was just a bit traumatic!

After getting my clothes back on and getting a little "good boy" speech from Daddy

we hit the road. O I almost forgot...check out my cool bandages!  They have Bugs Bunny on them...so cool!

O and one more thing, I Almost forgot. Mommy said I had to put my "stats" up so you all knew exactly how much I have grown. So here you have it.
